Community Volunteer Opportunity
Volunteer Graphic Designer – 10 to 20 hours a month. It’s true – we might have a real disaster on our hands without the help of a highly creative graphic design volunteer. The Oregon Trail Chapter of the American Red Cross seeks a skilled designer to help us with fresh ideas and distinctive visuals for a variety of projects ranging from logos/icons and invitations to programs and brochures. Cut and Paste Looks for Portland's Best Designers
Cut and Paste, an international digital design tournament, has announced its Call for Entries for designers to compete in its Portland event on September 21st. The audience will watch as eight top designers battle it out live in an iron-chef-like head-to-head design competition consisting of 15 minute heats. SEEKING DESIGNERS – THE URBAN FOREST PROJECT
Submit short designer bio and samples of work by February 19 20 designers will be selected by February 23 PLEASE READ FOLLOWING DETAILS FOR FULL INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTIONS What is it? The Urban Forest Project was originally conceived by AIGA's New York chapter in 2006, where banners created by top designers promoted environmental awareness in Times Square, one of the world's busiest, most emphatically urban intersections (see NYC project at urbanforestproject.org).
